Jessie Olson [email protected] (802) 264-5839I am thrilled to be a new member of the Colchester School District! I am the special educator on Mansfield's sixth-grade team and I am one of the special educators working with Champlain's sixth-grade team. I plan share my passion for Assistive Technology and enthusiasm for technology as an educational tool. I am proud to be part of a school community that embraces an inclusive model with student-centered policies. I live in South Burlington with my husband and our three-year-old daughter, Harper. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking (with my two dogs), swimming, gardening, knitting, and spending time with my family.

Deb Gay [email protected] (802) 264-5821Hi! I’m Deb Gay. I have been teaching for over 30 years in the field of special education. I’m currently finishing my twelfth year in the Colchester School District, and my eighth at CMS. In addition to my certification as a special educator, I am also a certified teacher of social studies, my favorite subject. Some of my more unique teaching experiences include working with the Migrant Education Program in Vermont, and serving as head teacher for the Burlington YouthBuild Program for three years prior to joining the Colchester educational community. My husband and I have lived in Vermont since 1995 and have raised two children, introducing them to favorite activities such as bicycling, camping, and traveling. We both love Vermont and can’t imagine living anywhere else!
